All About Us
Hello and welcome to my website! I built this website specifically for my PMU filly, SHHR Jubilee, but I'll tell you a wee bit about me and my family.
First of all, I am a 19 year old "kid" who enjoys using the web. I love to put together websites, slideshows, articles, and just about anything that can be done on the web! I work as a full time nanny for three rambunctious kids. That is definitely an interesting job! I am in love with a wonderful young man named Ken, and God has worked in marvelous ways in the relationship. I am living at Nana and Grandpop's house for the time being, and will probably remain there until I am married. My life has drastically changed in many ways. Not only do I have a wonderful sweetheart, but I am attending Faith Christian Church in Bellows Falls, VT...which is a Pentecostal church, far from anything I was ever used to! God is blessing me above and beyond what I ever dreamed possible!
I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters, as well as 2 loving parents and many animals, great and small. We are a Christian family and regularly attend Calvary Baptist Church in Claremont, NH. We have a very active family with a total of 3 teenagers, 3 young children, 2 parents, and 9 animals living here at Pond Farm.
In August of last year(2005), we moved from our tiny little ranch style house to a beautiful, bigger, more accomodating farm. The house sits on 5 open acres and has a pond, a barn, a workshop/garage/woodshed combined in one building, and 4 springs. It has been a wonderful blessing to live here. We just couldn't ask for more!
Our animals include 3 horses(Jubilee-Paint, Cash-25 year old QH/Paint, and Pet-Appy/QH), 4 "mut" cats, 1 German Shepard dog, and 1 white mouse.
Check back once in a great while for updates!

What is Premarin(e)?
Premarin stands for Pregnant Mares' Urine (PREgnant MARes' urINe); PMU for short (we spell it both ways, with an "e", PREgnant MARes' urINE which is the older, original name used in Canada, and without -- which is the more popular recent spelling, and the one that is U.S. registered trademark).
Premarin (including Prempro, Premphase, and Prempac) is a drug made up of conjugated estrogens obtained from the urine of pregnant mares -- put out in many forms (pills, creams, injections, patches) and is used to reduce the symptoms of menopause in women or women who have had a hysterectomy. It is also prescribed to nearly eliminate the risk of osteoporosis (the brittling of bones) and reduce the chance of heart disease in women over 50.
Approximately nine plus million American women are currently taking some form of Premarin (about a third of the approxamtly thirty-five million post menopausal women in the United States are on estrogen replacement therapy/ERT, or hormone replacement therapy/HRT, and of them, about 78% use Premarin based products -- while there are a number of estrogens excreted by the pregnant mare, estrone sulfate, equilin, and equilenin are the most significant).
It is the only human estrogen replacement drug that is derived from an animal (hormones beginning with the letter "e" are specific to equines, hormones beginning with the letter "h" are specific to humans).
The company that distributes it, Ayerst Organics Ltd. (currently the world's only producer of PMU), and the company that markets it world-wide is a subsidiary of Wyeth Inc. (Wyeth Laboratories, Inc. traces its roots to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., where, in 1860, John Wyeth and his brother Frank established a drugstore). Wyeth Inc. is the world's seventh largest drugmaker.
ALL Premarin is currently organic, and ALL organic Premarin is derived from estrogens extracted from Pregnant Mares' Urine. If you ever doubt where organic Premarin comes from, just break open a pill and smell it!
